Trainer / Educator for beginner and advanced players. Richard
has been involved with soccer for over 30 years and played
recreational and competitive levels in his native Leon
Guanajuato Mexico. Moved to USA at 16 and played adult
leagues. 1970 played premier league in Stockton and
Sacramento, both in California. Played SFSFL Premier from San
Francisco California league until 1980. This league was the
base for the beginning stages of the MLS and has formed many
players for USL.
Member of Latin American Soccer Coaches Association, LASCA
in 2001
Coached recreational and competitive levels for Stockton Youth
Soccer Association or SYSA from 1980 to 1995. Coach Director
for the same league SYSA 1997 to 2007. Received a C License
from USSF in 1997, in 1998 joined California Youth Soccer
Association CYSA as a Staff Instructor to the present time.
Worked with the Olympic Development Program or ODP from
1997 to the present time. Also worked with impaired kids on a
program in Stockton California, TOPS from 2000 to the present
time. Partnered with Brazilian Professor Thadeu November of
2006 in Boca Raton Fl. Bfut camp. Worked with Bfut Instructor
Eduardo de Souza in Poulsbo Wa. July 2007. October 2007,
worked with Bfut in Edmonton Canada for two weeks camp.
Coach of the University Of The Pacific men’s club team UOP.
2004 to the present time
BFUT B License holder with many years experience as a player
and now as a coach/educator and trainer for beginners as well
high performance players, IPT Individual Professional Training.
