| Congratulations to our U11, U12 and U15 boys teams for their outstanding performance during the recent Chivas USA Norcal Cup played in Sacramento this past Memorial Day weekend. Our U15 boys beat out some of the best teams in the area to win the Championship and our U12 boys placed second after a 1-0 loss in the Championship Game. Our U11 boys placed Third after a great performance this entire weekend. We would also like to congratulate our U9 Stockton Monarcas FC Flames team and coaches for their great play and sportsmanship during the Chivas Cup. Congratulations to our teams!! | Four of our very own Monarcas FC players attended a Chivas USA tryout in Los Angeles this past weekend. Coaches from the Chivas USA MLS team were present at the tryout. Carlos Lara, Ross Lewis, Lino Rojas and Benjamin Gonzalez Jr attended. We would like to thank Tom Lewis and Roberto Lara for their help in making this event happen for these boys. Cuatro de nuestros jugadores del Club Monarcas FC participaron en un tryout del Clb Chivas USA en la ciudad de Los Angeles este pasado fin de semana. Carlos Lara, Ross Lewis, Lino Rojas and Benjamin Gonzalez Jr. atendieron. Entrenadores del Club Chivas USA de la MLS estubieron presentes. | Thank you all for braving the cold and rain last Sunday the 14th and joining us for the mini camp and game between the Chivas USA U17 Youth team and our very own Stockton Monarcas FC 92 team. Stockton Monarcas FC 92 got off to a great start and came out ahead with goals by Cesar Garcia and Javier Lopez in the first half before giving up the lead and loosing the game. The final score was Chivas 6 and Monarcas 2. Check out all of the pictures of the mini camp and the game by clicking on the link above. Gracias a todas las personas que pudieron estar con nosotros el pasado Domingo 14 para el mini-camp y el partido entre Chivas USA Youth Team y Stockton Monarcas FC 92. Nuestro equipo comenzo muy bien ganando 2-1 en la primera mitad con goles de Cesar Garcia y Javier Lopez, pero no fue suficiente y terminaron perdiendo el partido. La segunda mitad se jugo bajo condiciones de lluvia y viento como las cuales Monarcas nunca habia jugado y aunque los jovenes lo dejaron todo en la cancha terminaron perdiendo 6-2 pero demostraron que pueden jugar contra cualquier equipo. They made it to the Round of 16 and played Ballistic United which did better than Monarcas in PKs and won the game in penalties after tying in extra time. Stockton Monarcas FC 96 is now undisputedly among the top teams in Northern California after not allowing a single goal in 4 games at State Cup. Congratulations to the players and coaching Staff led by Gerardo Celis, Daniel Bautista and Benjamin Gonzalez. | Stockton Monarcas FC recently had the fortune to be visited by Jordan Ferrell who is currently playing for SpVgg Ansbach in Germany's Landesliga. Jordan is a Stockton native who played competitive soccer here in the Stockton before moving on to College and now playing in Europe. He had great words of encouragement for our teams and we really appreciated having Jordan visit us and work with our players. We wish Jordan nothing but the best and we look forward to seeing him again in the summer when he returns from Germany. Good luck Jordan! | Congratulations go out to our Stockton Monarcas FC 96 team who today earned a place in the State Cup Championship match next weekend after defeating the #1 ranked team in the Nation, Milan FC by a score of 5-1. Our boys, who were underdogs coming in to the match, played a memorable game and easily had a 3-0 lead at half-time and went on to dominate the second half and nail down the victory. It is a great accomplishment for these young men and for our entire soccer Club who no doubt is proud of them. They play the Final next Saturday at 10:00 at the Turlock Sport Complex. | Our Stockton Monarcas FC 96 and Stockton Monarcas FZ Aztec Warriors teams had the opportunity to have a private and exclusive training session with Coach Jan Olde Riekerink from the world famous AFC Ajax Academy and Aloys Wijnker from the AZ Alkmaar both professional Clubs from Holand. Johan Cruijff, Marco van Basten, Frank Rijkaard, Wim Kieft, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Kluivert are but a few of the international stars that have successfully completed the training at their respective Academies. Our teams had a great time working with these Coaches who traveled from Europe to Northern California thanks to Norcal Premier Soccer. It was a great experience that our boys will not forget anytime soon. Los equipos Stockton Monarcas FC 96 y Stockton Monarcas FC Aztec Warriors tuvieron unos entrenamientos privados y exclusivos por el Coach Jan Olde Riekerink de la famosa Academia del AFC Ajax y el Coach Aloys Winjker del AZ Alkmar los dos Clubs profesionales de Holanda. | Two of our very own Stockton Monarcas FC Aztec Warriors players had the chance to play with an international team at the Thanksgiving Surf Cup held recently in San Diego. The team was Brisbane Athletic from Australia and Alex Gonzalez and Hector Grajeda had the opportunity to train and play with this excellent team that made the trip around the world for the love of the game and attended this event which is considered one of the best Tournaments in the Nation. We would like to thank Zee Soccer Academy and Coaches Zoltan and Greg for making our boys feel right at home. We hope to see them again soon. We wish Brisbane Athletic the best of luck in the future! The event in which coaches from the National Team attend, provides an opportunity for the country’s top youth talent to be identified and developed for From the id2 player pool, qualified players with National Team potential are invited to one of three id2 Regional Training Camps, which bring together the nation’s top male and female youth players for four days of competition, evaluation and fun. U.S. Soccer National Team staff as well as other elite coaches and players attend id2 Training Camps. In addition to the on-field sessions, id2 Training Camps feature guest speakers, lectures/classroom sessions and other offerings, which make for a complete experience. | Our Club would like to welcome our new Team Stockton Monarcas FC Flames and at the same time we would like to congratulate them on their First Tournament Victory with our Club with their recent win of the Willow Cup 2010 held in San Jose this past weekend. With the wind and rain coming down all weekend the boys played great soccer and bravely won the Tournament which came down to Penalty kicks in the Final. The team is led by Coach Rene Mora, a long time Coach here in Stockton who brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience to our Club. We wish Coach Rene and the Stockton Monarcas FC Flames Team the best of luck in the future! The Championship game is against the Stockton Storm FC which is another U13 team way. The Semifinal was a hard fought game in which our team came our on Top thanks to a continued attack by the midfielders and forwards here in the City that had a great State Cup run and earned a spot in the Final. Without a doubt the Championship is coming to Stockton either and sound defense and goalkeeping in the back. The Warriors have once again proven why they are at the top of the State and National Rankings. Congratulations to the players and Coaches for a fantastic job! Good luck in the Final!! | Congratulations to our U13 Team, Stockton Monarcas FC Aztec Warriors for bringing to our City and our Club the 2010 Norcal State Cup. To place First out of so many teams that sign up for State Cup is truly special and the boys have made our entire City and our Soccer Club very proud. The team played a great Final and won by a score of 1-0 over the Stockton Storm Premier 98 thanks to a goal by Jareth Guzman in the 15th minute of the second half. The crowd erupted with joy as the goal was scored and then superb defending and goalkeeping kept the score in favor of the Warriors to finish out the game and come home Champions. The boys rode home in style as a limo had been reserved for them and the entire team had a great time cruising home from Sacramento and then around Stockton with the State Cup on hand. They received lots of love from people here in City that saw them pass by. This team has once again proven why they are the Top Team in Northern California and one of the very best teams in the entire Nation. Congratulations to the Coaches Mike Guzman and Vicente Bravo along with Team Managers Benjamin Gonzalez and Moises Grajeda and Team Trainer Richard Mendoza. This is a great accomplishment by this talented young man. We will certainly miss him and at the same time wish him the very best in the future. We also saw Coach Gerardo Celis retire from Coaching this Team to tend to help Claudio with his new role with the EarthQuakes. Thank you Coach for your time spent with our Club. Claudio played with our Club his entire time that he played competitive soccer and it is with great pride that we will retire his #6 jersey from our SMFC 96 U-15 team so that he can serve as a reminder to all our Club players that dreams can come true if you are willing to work hard for them. . | Several of the Stockton Monarcas FC teams recently traveled to San jose to watch the Earthquakes take on Chivas USA in a great game that was enjoyed by everyone. It was a nice warm afternoon which made for perfect soccer weather and an enjoyable experience for our Teams. We would like to thank Soccer City for helping us make this event possible. Our Stockton Monarcas FC Aztec Warriors received an award from Stockton City Mayor Ann Johnston for their recent State Championship and #1 National Ranking. The Mayor and City Council members had some very nice words for the boys and wished them lots of luck in the future. The team also received a letter of commendation from State Senator Lois Wolk congratulating them on their success. This is of great honor for our entire Club. Congratulations Warriors! The team played great soccer all weekend scoring an impressive 21 goals in favor and only allowing 5 goals all weekend including the big win in the Final by a score of 6-2 over Carson FC from Nevada. Congratulations to the team and Coaches! We wish them lots of luck in the future. This Premier ranked team is one of the top teams in Northern California and we will certainly see more Championships from this fantastic group of young soccer players. | Our U14 team Stockton Monarcas FC Aztec Warriors Team recently traveled to San Diego to participate in the Nation's #1 ranked tournament the San Diego Surf Cup. The experience was great and the competition level was fantastic as one would expect from such a huge event that draws teams from all over the Nation and even International teams. The Warriors did not advance out of group play but played great soccer and demonstrated by being a contender in each of their games vs some of the best teams in the Nation that they were worthy of the invitation to such an event. The team plans on being back at Surf Cup next year and we wish them the best of luck! | Stockton Monarcas FC Teams traveled this past weekend to Las Vegas to represent our Club in one of the largest event in the Nation that drew Country and was worth 10,000 ranking points. Due to the Warrior's already high ranking they were only awarded 5,000 points but it was enough to catapult them to #1 in the Nation once again. SMFC Flames took home the Adidas Championship and also received a good amount of points to help them climb in the State and National rankings. The Flames scored an impressive 26 goals in favor and received only 2 goals against. SMFC Inter 99 did well but did not advance out of group play after winning one game, tying another and loosing a third game. Congratulations to the teams and we wish you the best of luck in the future. Equipos de nuestro Club Stockton Monarcas FC viajaron este pasado fin de semana a la Ciudad de Las Vegas y atendieron la Mayor's Cup que es uno de los eventos mas grandes del Pais al cual viajan equipos de todo el mundo. SMFC Aztec Warriors gano el Telemundo flight que tenia una competencia grande con los mejores equipos de la Nacion presentes. Este grupo valia 10,000 puntos de ranking Nacional pero porque los Warriors llegaron al evento con muchos puntos fueron otorgados con 5000 que fue suficiente para de nuevo estar rankeados #1 en la Nacion. | Congratulations to Stockton Monarcas FC Teams who had an excellent run in our very own Champions Cup 2011 which is now ranked among the best Tournaments in the entire Nation. There were over 170 teams in attendance including several out of State teams. Our SMFC Aztec Warriors and SMFC Inter99 won their respective flights after defeating some of the top teams in the Nation on their way to the Final. The Aztec Warriors defeated top ranked PAC San Jose Indios in a great Semifinal match on their way to a 3-1 win over Santa Clara Sporting in the Final. SMFC Inter 99 had a great run scoring 24 goals in favor in 5 games played including the Final 2-1 win over top ranked America USA 99. SMFC United U11 and SMFC Cruz Azul U16 took 2nd place honors after a great weekend of soccer by their squads in this prestigious event. We congratulate our teams and wish them the best of luck in the future. | Arturo Marquez Jr. a long time member of our Club and SMFC Aztec Warriors Team passed away last weekend at the young age of 14. Arturo played with our SMFC Aztec Warriors team since he was very young and will forever be remembered by everyone in our Club and of course his former teammates. He was the team Captain and a leader on one of the most successful teams ever in the Central Valley and Northern California. The team won several State and Regional Championships and attended the National Championships in 2011 as the #1 ranked team in the Nation at the time. Our condolences go out to his family. |

Teams from all over the world where in attendance at this event. The team had an incredible run winning 5 straight games and allowing only 1 goal in those 5 games on their way to the Final. They lost the Final after tying in regulation and going to overtime and penalty kicks vs the Las Vegas team. No otro Club tiene tantos jugadores representandolo en estos equipos y nos da gran orgulloo el ver tantos de nuestros jugadores participar a este alto nivel. Estos jugadores fueron selecionados en sus respectiva edad despues de atender tryouts donde jugadores de toda la region atendieron. The event in which coaches from the National Team attend, provides an opportunity for the country’s top youth talent to be identified and developed for From the id2 player pool, qualified players with National Team potential are invited to these Regional Training Camps, which bring together the nation’s top male and female youth players for four days of competition, evaluation and fun. U.S. Soccer National Team staff as well as other elite coaches and players attend id2 Training Camps. In addition to the on-field sessions, id2 Training Camps feature guest speakers, lectures/classroom sessions and other offerings, which make for a complete experience. | Congratulations to Stockton Monarcas FC Aztec Warriors U-14 boys for advancing to the Final Four in the Norcal State Cup. Our defending State Champions defeated top ranked Marin FC in a great match up which the Warriors won by a score of 2-1. It is a great feat to advance this far 2 years in a row and be in the Final Four of the State Cup once again (this out of almost 100 teams that signed up for this event) Next is the San Jose Earthquakes Academy team in the Semifinal this Saturday May 5th at 9am at the Turlock Soccer Complex. We wish the Team the best of luck in their next match up. Go Warriors!! Felicidades al equipo Stockton Monarcas FC Aztec Warriors U-14 por avanzar a la Semifinal de la Copa De Estado. Nuestros Campeones de la pasada Copa 2011 le ganaron al equipo de Marin FC en un gran partido que termino 2-1 en favor de nuestro equipo. | Congratulations to our u14 boys team United 98 for advancing to the Semifinal of State Cup 2012 in the Gold Division. This team earned their pass to this big game by defeating Winchester Soccer League Mexico 97 in the Quarter Final this past weekend by a score of 6-4. The Semifinal is this Saturday May 5th at 11 am vs Club America SJ Fuerza at the Turlock Sports Complex. We wish United 98 the best of luck and we hope you guys bring home a Championship.
